BORTHWICK CASTLE

Gordon Castle, Speyside is beautifully positioned within a 500 acre highland sporting estate in Speyside. Owned by the same family since the 15th Century, it was transformed during the 18th Century, by the 4th Duke of Gordon into a grand baronial Scottish mansion. Although now slightly more modest in size, it offers delightful accommodation in exceptional comfort and is one of the finest Scottish castles available to rent. INVERARAY CASTLE

Inveraray Castle & Gardens is the perfect base from which to enjoy the west of Scotland. Sir William Bruce designed Kinross House having created and designed the landscape and formal gardens 10 years before construction started on the house in 1685. Sir William Bruce is regarded as the founder of classical architecture in Scotland and Kinross House is the first, most important, neoclassical Palladian mansion built in Scotland and is one of the grandest Scottish country house rentals. Stuart was one of the best drivers we have had on a trip that involves days of driving, and he was indeed one of the highlights of our trip. We had the pleasure of being driven twice by Stuart; first from Edinburgh to Loch Lamond and then from Fort William back to Edinburgh. He was early for each trip and he brought a beautiful Range Rover that had the smoothest ride. How do I begin to thank Stuart for the most amazing few days we had on our trip to Scotland? I was traveling with my teen daughter from Edinburgh to St Andrews and Stuart arrived in a gorgeous Mercedes and shared with us the history of our surroundings on our trip and took us directly through the golf course-he knew everything about the area and was able to highlight special places. On our first day, he was gentle and thoughtful to suggest everything that would create a perfect drive and day together. We had planned to go to Highlands and in planning our trip I spoke to Stuart about driving us there and back instead of hiring my own car (he was super patient with all of my questions when I called from the USA and gave me wonderful advice so I also booked Stuart to take us to and from the Highlands-best decision ever!) . My friends decided to come last minute to visit us and Stuart completely accommodated the four of us-two teens and two Moms-on our special road trip to the West Coast. We could not have found the beautiful places he suggested on our own-he called for us to have reservations for beautiful lunch spots—and we all became family. My friend Martha is incredibly curious and wanted to glean all she could from Stuart for future travel so he not only drove us safely and professionally in another beautiful Mercedes van, but shared all of the history and stories of Scotland along with some new places that we should visit.Stuart, thank you again for an amazing trip and wonderful service to us. Service exceeded my expectations. I made a mistake in the initial reservation but Stuart handled it with no fuss and rescheduled without issue the day before I was expected to arrive. I planned a golf trip to Scotland in 2019. We got held up due to the pandemic and Stuart worked with us to reschedule. We were traveling to Scotland for a wedding and sightseeing. We went from Glasgow to Isle of Skye to Troon for the wedding. Then Troon to Edinburgh. Beat my expectations by 1000%!!! I can't enough wonderful things about EOSCS and their team. Stuart was 30 minutes early to make sure that he had time to call us and let us know that he was ready when we were ready. We felt absolutely no pressure to keep a schedule as the entire day was devoted to us.Stuart was able to show us landmarks and interesting pieces of history about Edinburgh as well as the amazing and beautiful countryside. Not only did we get an amazing and comfortable tour but we also got a tremendous history lesson as Stuart is just a wealth of knowledge about Scotland and its history.A few other benefits are the amazingly comfortable car that was incredibly clean and came with a ton of free extras including water / whiskey / wine and snacks.I can't stress this enough. We spent a wonderful day touring castles outside of Edinburgh. Our driver's knowledge was amazing and he really knows how to play to his audience. We had our young children along and were provided with car seats for safety. We really enjoyed our time. The car was also spotless.

East of Scotland Chauffeur Services made a dream vacation with my 2 daughters amazing. Adrian was our guide and chauffeur for 5 days from Glasgow thru Isle of Skye to Endinburgh. He was even able to find the apartment where my mother was born in Glasgow with the address I had. He was very professional and knowledgeable about the places we visited and Scottish history. He was patient and funny when my daughters found places to visit off the beaten path.... that in itself was an adventure. We never felt rushed at any time. Adrian was wonderful and seemed like part of the family by the time we had to say good-bye.

Stuart was a fantastic host, nothing was too much trouble and he had excellent knowledge of the best places to see, eat and drink. Furthermore his knowledge and history of Scotland is excellent. Little touches like opening and closing the door as well as mineral water and newspaper were also a welcome addition. I would definitely use EOCS again.

My family and I hired Stuart and his company to take us around the northern part of Scotland. He was absoultey amazing and took such good care of us. Loved the time we spent with Stuart, he has a wonderful command of history and will take you to the places you need to see, not what you want to see. Trust him, and you will have a wonderful experience. My only regret is that we found EOSCS just before our trip. I wish we had use them to plan more of our vacation. Stuart picked us up Saturday morning and drove us to Balmaha on Loch Lomond. He also drove us back into the Edinburgh on Monday. We soon learned that he is more than a chauffeur, he has an amazing depth and breadth of knowldege and helps you put all the sights into the right perspective. We also spent a wonderful day touring with Stuart through the Highlands. Spectacular! Having somebody do the driving gives you the ability to take in the amazing landscape. Stuart knows the little areas off the beaten path and points out the subtle things your eyes will miss.Can’t say enough about our experience. After awhile you fell like you are talking to an old friend. Highly recommended to help maximize you trip to Scotland.

We booked with East of Scotland Chauffeur Services for a all-day Outlander tour and Stuart was amazing! The personalized feel was wonderful and we felt like VIP's. It also felt like he was a member of the family by the end of the tour with amazing stories.Additionally, he provided a wealth of historical information along on route that was not just limited to Outlander filming sites. He knew just about everything we inquired about.The Mercedes S class was beautiful and the exec package in the rear made it even better. We could have slept for hours in those seats. The inside looked brand new as well. In all it was a wonderful experience and well worth the price. We look forward to using Stuart in the future!

Car was a Mercedes Benz S-class so it was a fantastic ride all the way. They provided bottled water when requested. The driver Ian was very professional and accommodating to slight changes in our itinerary. One thing though, it would have been good to have been able to use the car wifi. The driver did not get trained to make it work. We also would have wanted to hear more stories about the sites. But these weren't big issues for us. Overall, it was a great experience and we will not hesitate to hiring them again for future trips. We highly recommend them.

Can’t thank Stuart and East of Scotland Chauffeur Services enough. I decided relatively late that I needed some sort of transport for my small wedding in Peebles. This was not a problem. From the first email Stuart was fantastic. He was courteous and friendly, but still remained professional throughout. On the day he turned up on time ( actually early) and nothing was too much trouble, it was as if he just seemed to appear when we needed him. Which made the day run smoothly. I would highly recommend him and his company for any transport needs you may have. Hopefully I can find another reason to use him again soon. Thanks for helping my wedding day so great!
