Stuart and his team are the best! Stuart guided us around (Scotland) for two weeks this past September. He is a terrific driver and super knowledgeable guide on local restaurants, worthwhile sites to see, and Scottish history. He’s also just a wonderful person to spend time with. My wife and I have traveled a lot with personal guides throughout Europe. We both agreed that Stuart was the best guide we’ve ever had. And we’ve had some very good ones. This review is long overdue. Many apologies, Stuart! We wish we could have given Stuart and his team an excellent rating much earlier.From the start of our email requests about Highland and Skye, Stuart was very prompt and efficient in his replies and was especially helpful in giving us his inputs of places to visit, restaurants to enjoy Scottish fare and exceptional accommodations.There were 4 of us travelling and the vehicle was spotless and well maintained. Stuart knows of all the best places to visit in the Highland and Skye and the best timings to visit the attractions so as to avoid the massive tourist crowds during spring break. He recommends excellent restaurants where my family enjoyed our meals very much. Stuart is easily the best driver guide that we have had in our numerous years of travel abroad.As I had to make a last minute urgent request to arrive in Skye 2 day later than expected with my husband, Stuart tended to my very last minute request immediately and arranged for his very clean and comfortable Mercedes S class for us. His trusted colleague, Nick, picked us up from Glasgow Airport and drove us safely to Skye in 5 over hours.. We were so grateful for the help and kindness he extended to us within such a short notice.He'll definitely be our contact for our next holiday to Scotland!!

How do I begin to thank Stuart for the most amazing few days we had on our trip to Scotland? I was traveling with my teen daughter from Edinburgh to St Andrews and Stuart arrived in a gorgeous Mercedes and shared with us the history of our surroundings on our trip and took us directly through the golf course-he knew everything about the area and was able to highlight special places. On our first day, he was gentle and thoughtful to suggest everything that would create a perfect drive and day together. We had planned to go to Highlands and in planning our trip I spoke to Stuart about driving us there and back instead of hiring my own car (he was super patient with all of my questions when I called from the USA and gave me wonderful advice so I also booked Stuart to take us to and from the Highlands-best decision ever!) . My friends decided to come last minute to visit us and Stuart completely accommodated the four of us-two teens and two Moms-on our special road trip to the West Coast. We could not have found the beautiful places he suggested on our own-he called for us to have reservations for beautiful lunch spots—and we all became family. My friend Martha is incredibly curious and wanted to glean all she could from Stuart for future travel so he not only drove us safely and professionally in another beautiful Mercedes van, but shared all of the history and stories of Scotland along with some new places that we should visit.Stuart, thank you again for an amazing trip and wonderful service to us. I know my husband and his friends will see you sooner on their next golf trip but I just might join so that we can see each other again!!

Totally excellent experience with Stuart! The website booking process was easy, and I received an email confirmation within a few minutes. Stuart provided all the details I would need to find him at the cruise terminal where we disembarked. The vehicle was very clean and very spacious. Absolutely first class! Stuart provided exceptional service. More than that, his knowledge of Scotland, the UK and the history that shaped the land and people made the experience truly extraordinary (going back to the prehistory of the people and the geology). He provided not just commentary but conversation and insightful dialogue. Perhaps most special, was the way he made the trip “ours”. It did not feel like we were being taken on a tour. Service exceeded my expectations. I made a mistake in the initial reservation but Stuart handled it with no fuss and rescheduled without issue the day before I was expected to arrive. Once I was in Edinburgh, Nick was waiting for me at baggage claim and provided valuable assistance in helping with my lost luggage. The car itself was immaculate, spacious and comfortable. During our 4 hour ride, Nick provided interesting insights into the areas we were passing through. Conversation was friendly but respectful. It was a pleasurable experience provide by a truly professional limousine service.

I planned a golf trip to Scotland in 2019. We got held up due to the pandemic and Stuart worked with us to reschedule. We finally completed out trip last week and I cannot say enough positive comments about the service and his team. We had the best service with one of the most professional drivers in the business. I had created a custom schedule and we selected their service because they could make it happen. A great Mercedes van that fit our 4 person group perfectly. We were traveling to Scotland for a wedding and sightseeing. We went from Glasgow to Isle of Skye to Troon for the wedding. Then Troon to Edinburgh. Trying to figure out the logistics of getting around without driving ourselves was a big task. We weren’t sure which driving service to trust. Beat my expectations by 1000%!!! I can't enough wonderful things about EOSCS and their team. Stuart was 30 minutes early to make sure that he had time to call us and let us know that he was ready when we were ready. We felt absolutely no pressure to keep a schedule as the entire day was devoted to us.Stuart was able to show us landmarks and interesting pieces of history about Edinburgh as well as the amazing and beautiful countryside. Not only did we get an amazing and comfortable tour but we also got a tremendous history lesson as Stuart is just a wealth of knowledge about Scotland and its history.A few other benefits are the amazingly comfortable car that was incredibly clean and came with a ton of free extras including water / whiskey / wine and snacks.I can't stress this enough. If you are looking for a tour guide in Edinburgh or Scotland please use EOSCS!! East of Scotland Chauffeur Services made a dream vacation with my 2 daughters amazing. Adrian was our guide and chauffeur for 5 days from Glasgow thru Isle of Skye to Endinburgh. He was even able to find the apartment where my mother was born in Glasgow with the address I had. He was very professional and knowledgeable about the places we visited and Scottish history. He was patient and funny when my daughters found places to visit off the beaten path.... that in itself was an adventure. We never felt rushed at any time. Stuart was a fantastic host, nothing was too much trouble and he had excellent knowledge of the best places to see, eat and drink. Furthermore his knowledge and history of Scotland is excellent. Little touches like opening and closing the door as well as mineral water and newspaper were also a welcome addition. I would definitely use EOCS again.

My family and I hired Stuart and his company to take us around the northern part of Scotland. He was absoultey amazing and took such good care of us. Loved the time we spent with Stuart, he has a wonderful command of history and will take you to the places you need to see, not what you want to see. Trust him, and you will have a wonderful experience. My only regret is that we found EOSCS just before our trip. I wish we had use them to plan more of our vacation. Stuart picked us up Saturday morning and drove us to Balmaha on Loch Lomond. He also drove us back into the Edinburgh on Monday. We soon learned that he is more than a chauffeur, he has an amazing depth and breadth of knowldege and helps you put all the sights into the right perspective. We also spent a wonderful day touring with Stuart through the Highlands. Spectacular! Having somebody do the driving gives you the ability to take in the amazing landscape. Stuart knows the little areas off the beaten path and points out the subtle things your eyes will miss.Can’t say enough about our experience. After awhile you fell like you are talking to an old friend. Highly recommended to help maximize you trip to Scotland.

We booked with East of Scotland Chauffeur Services for a all-day Outlander tour and Stuart was amazing! The personalized feel was wonderful and we felt like VIP's. It also felt like he was a member of the family by the end of the tour with amazing stories.Additionally, he provided a wealth of historical information along on route that was not just limited to Outlander filming sites. He knew just about everything we inquired about.The Mercedes S class was beautiful and the exec package in the rear made it even better. We could have slept for hours in those seats. Car was a Mercedes Benz S-class so it was a fantastic ride all the way. They provided bottled water when requested. The driver Ian was very professional and accommodating to slight changes in our itinerary. One thing though, it would have been good to have been able to use the car wifi. The driver did not get trained to make it work. We also would have wanted to hear more stories about the sites. But these weren't big issues for us. Overall, it was a great experience and we will not hesitate to hiring them again for future trips. We highly recommend them.

Can’t thank Stuart and East of Scotland Chauffeur Services enough. I decided relatively late that I needed some sort of transport for my small wedding in Peebles. This was not a problem. From the first email Stuart was fantastic. He was courteous and friendly, but still remained professional throughout. On the day he turned up on time ( actually early) and nothing was too much trouble, it was as if he just seemed to appear when we needed him. Which made the day run smoothly. I would highly recommend him and his company for any transport needs you may have. Hopefully I can find another reason to use him again soon. Thanks for helping my wedding day so great!

Stuart gave us an awesome tour of Scotland. He met my wife, daughter, son-in law, and me at the ferry landing at Cairnryan and took us on a 3 day tour of Scotland. He chauffeured us to Edinburgh by way of the Scottish Highlands. He showed just about everything to see on our 3 day trip. He was also a lot of fun and we shared our sense of humors along the way. We ended with a complete one day tour of Edinburgh and saw many things that you wouldn't ordinary see on the bus tours. If you want to see all the things to see in Scotland, I 100% recommend Stuart. Stuart was prompt (early, actually), helpful in every way (even when we consulted him off-duty on a hospital trip), and his vehicles are immaculate! He is a font of knowledge about history and tourist sites. It was delightful to be in his company. I will recommend his services to everyone, and will engage him again the next time we go to Scotland.

Above and beyond!!I’m not one to typically write reviews but I must give a shout out to Stuart Wight of East of Scotland Chauffeur Services. When I first met Stuart, he took my wife, my daughter and me on 2 fabulous days of touring before we moved our daughter into the university here. We left the itinerary up to him, and he planned a well thought-out schedule for us. His professional manner, sense of humor and knowledge made our experience with him fun, easy and comfortable. When we said our goodbyes, my wife asked Stuart if we could call on him in case of an emergency since we were leaving our daughter so far from home. We never expected to need his help, but this past week, my daughter took a fall and when we reached out to him, he was there for her in a moments notice. He picked her up, brought her to the ER, waited for her and brought her back to her dorm. He had the foresight and compassion to bring his wife, Ruby, thinking our daughter would be more comfortable having a woman/mother figure accompany her to get checked out. When we asked what we owed him for his exemplary services, he would not accept any payment. He was just happy our daughter had a proper health check. We were so touched by the way he came through for us, beyond expectation! What more can you ask for when looking for a tour guide?! This is the guy you want. He turned out to be so much more than we ever expected and we’re still talking about it!

Stuart came to us by recommendation after the first name/company we received was booked. How lucky for us this turned out to be! We had an amazing 2 days of touring Edinburgh with him. Our itinerary was well thought out. Stuart was charming, very professional, made us feel comfortable and we just loved the stories he shared with us. He was extremely accommodating when my niece and her friends joined us last minute for 1 of the days. I can’t recommend Stuart enough. We will definitely be using his services again on our next visit.

I used EOSCS for an airport transfer and return from North Lanarkshire to Edinburgh Airport.Stuart Wright the proprietor provides first class service, communication, sensible pricing and a quality, high spec vehicle in immaculate condition.My flight back from the states arrived an hour early but Stuart was at the airport as he had been tracking the flight.I will definitely be using Stuart again in the future as my first choice of chauffeur company.JOHN.

Our family visited Scotland in Jul , and employed the service provided by East of Scotland Chauffeur Services . The service was of high -quality and professional , which was attributed to Stuart who had been our driver throughout our journey .
