Fenton Tower House
Surrounded by rolling countryside and many of the world’s most famous courses, including Muirfield, Gullane and North Berwick, Fenton Tower provides a highly attractive base for golfers. This 5-star accommodation, for up to 12 guests, is an ideal location for those wishing to participate in a wide range of country, sporting and recreational activities. This fabulous Georgian house is surrounded by an impressive 1,000 acre estate, including 100 acres of lawns, gardens, woodlands and walks, and all available for the enjoyment of guests. Gilmerton House was designed by Robert Adam and is now a Grade A listed building. Able to accommodate 20 guests, this is a wonderful location for a special family celebration or golfing party, with some of the country’s very best courses nearby.
Inveraray Castle & Gardens is the perfect base from which to enjoy the west of Scotland. An imposing, turreted building, the Castle has been home to the Dukes of Argyll and seat of the Clan Campbell since the 1700s and sits on the edge of Loch Fyne, surrounded by the majestic West Highlands. The castle was inspired by Vanbrugh and includes a vast array of arms of display; original hand-painted ceilings, tapestries and furniture; portraits tracing the family in their role as key players in British history; as well as the formal gardens famous for their rhododendrons and azaleas.
The Estate offers stalking, which can be arranged, as can photographic tours, riding, golf, whisky distillery tours and tastings. Glasgow is 60 miles away and the ferries to the Western Isles are all within easy access.
